The 'Ratel Responder' (Wildfire Ground Crew Backpack)
Designed for long days on the fireline, the 'Ratel Responder' backpack will carry all that gear you have carefully collected and value for your time on the fireline, while shifting weight from your shoulders to your hips for reduced operational fatigue.
The Ratel is the local South African name for the Honey Badger, known for its tenacious attitude and endurance. This backpack features a completely revised shoulder harness system allowing for greater comfort while carrying all of your fireline gear. Built from durable, weather-protected Cordura, the Ratel features hydration bladder compatibility, multiple carrying compartments with an increased carrying capacity of 30L over our first 'Umlilo' backpack, as well as Molle attachment points for adding other essential gear.
